The Game

Iredia, Atram's Secret is a videogame developed by CEIEC (Experimental Centre of Knowledge Innovation) of Francisco de Vitoria University in collaboration with The Game Kitchen and AccessAble Games to raise awareness in society, especially on children, on the reality of the world of functional diversity hearing. The game is currently available for Xbox 360 and PC.

Has four levels plus an introduction, each of the levels taught some aspect of the Hearing.

 

Sara is a 11 year old girl who just had a deaf sister. Wants to give her a flute but a mischievous cat named Kikarazu steals it.

The first level teaches ear function and anatomy.

At the second level we can access to modify an audiogram hearing ability which directly affects the game, as the sounds we hear are represented by onomatopoeia to which we can jump to use them as platforms.
